After a three-year engagement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bachelor In Paradise star Wells Adams and actress Sarah Hyland get married.
Wells Adams, the beloved Bachelor in Paradise bartender, finally married actress Sarah Hyland after postponing their wedding several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Radio DJ Wells looked for love in JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette in 2016 and Bachelor In Paradise season 3, but he did not find a lasting relationship. He returned for Bachelor in Paradise seasons 4, 5, 6 and 7 as the bartender on the beach, serving drinks and giving advice to the contestants. He even hosted a season 7 episode of the show, much to the delight of fans.
Although Wells did not find love with The Bachelor franchise, he found his forever love with the Modern Family actress. The couple began seeing each other in 2017 after Wells sent a private message to Sarah on Instagram. They moved in together in the summer of 2018. Bachelor in Paradise star Wells proposed on July 16, 2019, and he and Sarah were excited to get married, but plans were put on hold because of COVID-19. Since Sarah is immunocompromised, the couple had to be extra cautious during the height of the pandemic.

Now E! News reports that Wells and Sarah got married on Saturday, August 20, in an outdoor ceremony at Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, California. In Instagram posts, Sarah's Modern Family co-star Sofia Vergara shared some photographs of herself, Nolan Gould and Jesse Tyler Ferguson at the wedding, including one in a photo booth captioned, "#sarahandwells wedding."
In a recent interview with Bachelor Nation, Wells revealed some more details about the wedding. He said that they were going to have some special food from restaurants that they love. He also shared that a bunch of people from Bachelor Nation would be there. His groomsmen consisted only of family, but Bachelor Nation stars Ben Higgins and Derek Peth went to his bachelor party in Mexico, so they were most likely at the wedding as well. Bachelor Nation couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick were also in attendance.
Wells and Sarah waited three years for this wedding, so everyone wished them a magical and special day. They have been a fan-favorite couple for a long time within Bachelor Nation. Everyone always hoped that Wells would find true love, and now he is finally married to Sarah. They have been through a lot together, and have persevered through it all. Wells and Sarah deserve a lifetime of good health and happiness.
Bachelor in Paradise premieres Tuesday, September 27 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
